About Mrs. Griffin
Jacinda Griffin is one of only eleven Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialists in Missouri, and a recognized leader in reading and literacy intervention. She is also a Certified Dyslexia Therapist and Board Certified Cognitive Specialist with nearly twenty years of education experience spanning learners from infancy through college.
Over her career she has worked as a parent educator in the Parents as Teachers program, a kindergarten teacher, an ELL testing coordinator, reading interventionist, and computer literacy instructor. She owns Griffin Reading, a private practice offering dyslexia intervention and therapy, reading assessments, and comprehensive dyslexia evaluations. She also serves on the board of the International Dyslexia Association's Kansas–Missouri Branch.
Jacinda holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood and a Master's degree in Reading from an IDA-accredited university. She is a licensed teacher in both Arkansas and Missouri, with specialized credentials through the International Dyslexia Association and the Center for Effective Reading Instruction.
